Hinckley Ladies Netball Club (HLNC) Committee 2018/2019
Co-Chairwoman
Holly Hemsley and Lucy Masser
Holly & Lucy became club co-chairwoman in 2018 after both having previous committee roles in the prior seasons. They have been HLNC members for 12 and 10 years respectively, originally starting out as juniors and progressing through to the senior teams. Over their time with the club, they have made many friends and memories, whilst progressing their skills in the sport. Their main aims for this season is to inject a sense of fun and community into the club, and to provide quality coaching to ensure all players are able to develop and grow their netball skills with us.

Vice Chairwoman
Jess Rainbow
Jess has been a member of HLNC since 2006 (with the exception of 3 years when we allowed her to go to University!), having grown up with the club by joining when she was just 11 years old. The main thing Jess loves about HLNC is “the sense of community and support each member brings”.

Treasurer
Kate Chamberlain
Kate is a long-standing member of the club, having joined as a junior in 2000 at the age of 11. Outside of netball, Kate loves spending time with family and friends, going on holiday to sunny places and generally being busy! She loves HLNC as “the club is a fab community of great people; we all have a passion for netball and love the social time spent with special friends,”

Secretary
Zoe Stokes-Merry and Anita King
Anita is another long standing member, having been part of our club for over 20 years. She originally took up netball as “a way to get some ‘me’ time, to get fit and make new friends” and it now forms a large part of her life. Outside of netball, Anita “enjoys spending quality family time, having lots of holidays and playing tennis.”
Anita is also our safeguarding officer and can be contacted around any safeguarding concerns on: safeguarding@hinckleyladiesnetball.com.
Zoe plays a key part in our committee by making sure we are organised and efficient in everything that we do. Outside of netball, Zoe also volunteers backstage at theater productions and spends time with friends and her now-husband after being recently married.

Fixtures Secretary
Carole Payne (CP)
CP has been playing for HLNC since 1995, and has taken on the role of Fixtures Secretary for as long as most of us can remember! According to CP, “if I’m not playing netball I’m usually running round after my daughter, literally. However, I do like to knit as well as play darts and the odd game of badminton.” CP is one of the most well-known members of the entire Coventry & North Warwickshire league, and was very deservedly presented with a ‘Special Persons’ award at the 2018 league presentation to recognise her hard work, commitment and support towards umpiring.

Communications Officer
Emma Draycott
Emma has been a member of HLNC since 2004, and has had many committee roles over the years. Emma’s favourite thing about the club is “the people and the passion,” and is most known by our members as the one most likely to turn up late(!). Her focus this year is on improving our communication to both the local and netball community on the exciting things we get up to, and encouraging more to join in.

Sponsorship and Grants Officer
Steph Morton
Steph has recently joined Hinckley Ladies through their back to netball scheme, and is now enjoying playing in a more competitive league. Outside of netball, Steph also participates in horse riding with her friends and generally likes to keep active. This is Steph’s first role on the committee, but we are positive it won’t be her last!

Events and Tournaments Officer(s)
Anna Poulsen and Rebecca Kenney
Alongside netball, Anna also competes in regional level rugby and dances for the Rochelle School of Dance so likes to keep herself busy. She loves being part of HLNC because “everybody is so loving and caring and treats all as equals.” Perhaps biased given her new committee position, but Anna also believes “we have the best socials as well- full of fun and craziness!”
Rebecca has been a member of HLNC for 7 years as a player, umpire, committee member and now our new junior coach. She loves being part of Hinckley Ladies as “I love the community feel to the club; sharing knowledge, experiences and laughs.”

Facilities and Kit Officer
Emily Harrison
This season Emily has joined our committee for the first time by taking on the role of kitting out both our facilities and our players. She loves being part of our club due to the friends and memories that she has made here, but outside of netball Emily also enjoys socialising with her family and friends and going on many different holidays.

Carmen Whitaker

Having joined as a junior herself, Carmen is passionate about promoting netball for all ages and is looking forward to stepping up the training that our juniors recieve and making them all the best that they can be.
