Hinckley Ladies Netball Junior sessions cater for young players of all abilities, players can join us when they are 11 years old. Once players reach school year 11 (age 15-16) they are also welcome to train with our seniors.
We realise how difficult it can be to come to a brand-new club, and only knowing a few people. We can guarantee a warm welcome and a friendly group of players and coaches.
At HLNC, we like to ensure players enjoy the game whilst learning new skills, and our training sessions are designed with age and ability in mind. We have a mixture of sessions ranging from coached skills and drills (with qualified Level 2 Coaches) to work on specific game sections, rules, or positions; fun fitness sessions to help improve our players health and fitness and ‘tournament’ sessions to put their new skills into practice in a match scenario.
Training for Hinckley Ladies Juniors is held on a Wednesday night 6pm-7:25pm (check out the Calendar to find out more!) and matches (for those who are part of one of our teams) are played on Sundays starting from October.
To trial for one of our teams, we ask that you have good commitment to Wednesday training (6-7:25pm), and good commitment to matches (these will be on Sunday’s, usually at 9:30, 10:30 or 11:30am either at our Hinckley courts or away at our opposition’s venue).
We currently have three junior teams: U16, U15 and U14, alongside a large number of training only players. During the 2021/22 season, we are competing in hub matches with local clubs around Nuneaton, matches will be played Home & Away across the season.
Trials usually take place over Summer, with information being released in May/June.
See our current payment information for the 2021/22 season here. Please note that this is subject to change for future seasons and will be confirmed and communicated after trials.
For any new player joining us, the first session is free.
Extra costs for team members: Additional costs occur for players who are competing in games. This includes kit, affiliations, and memberships.
