Safeguarding

What is a safeguarding officer?

England Netball is firmly committed to ensure that everyone can play netball in a safe and positive environment and have their welfare protected from poor practice, abuse and bullying. England Netball has therefore implemented a specific Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy that Hinckley Ladies follow.

England Netball expects that every affiliated Club has a Club Safeguarding Officer who is responsible for acting as a central source of advice about Safeguarding issues and Club best practice. They should promote safeguarding within the Club and be a person who all members (both junior and senior) can go to and talk about any issues or difficulties they may have, in or outside of netball.

Who are our safeguarding officers?

The Hinckley Ladies Netball Club Safeguarding Officers for the 23/24 season are Anita King (Juniors & Seniors) and Cara Stuckey (Seniors). Should you have any issues, problems, or concerns with anything (this does not have to be netball related), you can talk to Anita or Cara in total confidence.
