Following their success at the Back to Netball tournament held earlier in the year, the Hinckley Hornettes travelled to Caludon Castle School for a new Back to Netball league.
In their first match of the flexi league the Hornettes played a strong game against the Queens Diamonds Rugby. Play was close for the first half, with each team holding their centre pass. In the last quarter the Diamonds pulled ahead to win 26 to 21, not without a great team effort to stop them, including Ede Roche playing a great Centre, intercepting many passes and speedy Katie Foster getting in front of the ball as Goal Defence. An amazing performance from Tracey Pallet, Hornettes Goal Attack won her Player of the Match.
